Her first book, "The
Art of Painting Animals on Rocks" was published by North Light Books
in 1994 and quickly established itself as a favorite.
Responding to requests
from people without access to river rocks, Lin next introduced "Painting
Houses, Cottages and Towns on Rocks", which shows how to transform
chunky, "side of the road" rocks into charming cottages, little farm houses
and barns ... even whole towns!
In February of 1998, her
third book arrived, offering even more fabulous rock animal projects. Aptly
titled "Painting More Animals
on
Rocks", it takes you step by step through the process of painting mice,
penguins, wild cats, wolves, foals and 6 others.
The newest exciting addition
to any rock painter's library is "Painting
Flowers on Rocks" which offers a glowing garden of colorful flowers
and plants painted on rocks in a variety shapes, sizes and kinds. Like
real flowers, painted rock flowers are lovely to look at, but never drop
their leaves or stop blooming and never need special care. |
